High-pressure hydraulics

Pressure ranges above 450 bar are generally considered to be high pressure. First of all, high pressure is only needed if heavy objects must be moved precisely or when powerful movements must be precisely performed in a small space. The use of high-pressure components makes it possible to build solutions that are highly optimized in terms of weight and space. If you expect a pressure peak of 1000 bar in your system, you should choose a high-pressure component that can withstand the pressure without any problems. Not all typical hydraulic components are suitable for high pressures. We have brought together for you a wide range of standard building blocks that ECT can offer.

High-pressure pumps

ECT offers hydraulic units that are compact and robust and easy to use. It is ideally suited for demanding applications and very high pressures. Radial piston pumps, axial piston pumps and two-stage pumps can be used in the high pressure range.

Radial piston pump- Type S

Due to its design, this radial piston pump has a small piston pump element in a radial configuration and is suitable for generating pressures up to 700 bar. By configuring the elements into multiple rings, large volumetric flows can be generated with low pulsation.

Technical data

  • Pmax:700 bar
  • Qmax:91.2 l/min
  • Hg:64.18 cm³/U

Axial piston pump-Type EL

Axial piston pumps are equipped with multiple pistons arranged parallel to the drive shaft. They can be purchased as variable or fixed displacement pumps. The variable axial piston pump regulates the geometrical delivery from a maximum to zero. In this way, it changes the volume flow rate of the feeding consumer. The axial piston dosing pump has a constant flow of liquid per minute and delivers a constant volume flow depending on the rotational speed.

Technical data

  • Pmax:400bar
  • Qmax:50 l/min
  • Hg:240 cm³/U

Two-stage pump-Type KM

If you want to combine fast movements with powerful movements (fast stroke – low speed stroke), a compact two-stage system is available. Here the gear pump pumps to the system at a high delivery flow but low pressure, while the radial piston pump pumps at a high pressure but low delivery flow. The two pump direct flanges are connected to each other to form a compact unit.

Technical data

  • Pmax:700 bar
  • Qmax:91.2 l/min
  • Hg:64.18 cm³/U

System solutions

With standard components ECT offers efficient system solutions customized.Even in non-standard requirements, our engineering team would provide all-round support from design to commissioning in operation on site. Please refer to the brief introduction following for our product series:

Compact pumping station- Type SW

The compact pumping station type SW is designed for intermittent operation. The housing includes a tank, a submersible motor and a high-pressure pump or a two-stage pump. The BA and VB manifolds can be installed directly for a very compact system solution.

Technical data

  • Pmax:700 bar
  • Qmax:7 l/min
  • Vmax:30 l

Compact pumping station- Type ELH

The compact pumping station type ELH can be used for intermittent and continuous operation. This type of pumping station is ideal for hydraulic tools.

Technical data

  • Pmax:700 bar
  • Qmax:13 l/min
  • Vmax:11.1 l

Standard pumping station- Type EXG

For higher flow requirements, standard pumping stations of type EXG can be used. With its simple standard component configuration, many options are available in the standard high pressure range.

Technical data

  • Pmax:700 bar (HD); 280 bar (ND)
  • Qmax:64 l/min (HD); 80 l/min (ND)
  • Vmax:560 l
